Project Overview
A light, elegant kitchen that makes the most of its setting.
Not overdone.
Not trying too hard.
Just a calm, practical space that feels right for coastal living and everyday life.
What the Client Wanted
The brief was clear from the start.
- A bright, airy Shaker kitchen with an understated look.
- A layout that improved flow and made the space feel more open.
- High-quality materials with a premium finish.
- Integrated appliances for clean, cohesive lines.
- A kitchen that worked for daily routines and entertaining.
Simple ask. Not always simple to get right.

The Design Process
We started with how the kitchen would actually be used and how it connected to the rest of the home.
We explored layouts that maximised natural light and created openness, carefully considering sightlines, storage and movement through the space.
Through design visuals and material samples, we refined the details together—adjusting proportions, finishes and features until the kitchen felt perfectly balanced.
The result reflects genuine collaboration, not just what we thought looked good.

Materials and Finishes
Materials were chosen to enhance the light, coastal feel while delivering durability for everyday use.
The palette was kept soft and refined, letting textures and craftsmanship take centre stage.

The Outcome
The completed kitchen is bright, welcoming and feels both refined and relaxed.
The layout works better. The materials age well. And the space genuinely reflects how the client lives, not how kitchens are supposed to look in magazines.
It’s a kitchen they can enjoy every day without overthinking it.
